June and July: Siam Tea Room Thai eatery features a “Durian Fiesta” promotion showcasing dishes prepared with Thailand’s king of fruit. The featured menu includes young durian salad with fresh mangosteen and shrimp; slow-braised beef cheek massaman curry with young durian; steamed sea prawns in fresh milk with chilli and durian; chu-chee curry with grilled pork neck and durian; and desserts such as durian with crispy sweet dumplings and coconut milk ice cream.

Bangkok Marriott Sukhumvit

Today: A special 8-course dinner featuring Daniele Sperindio, the Italian chef-owner of Michelin-starred restaurant Art di Daniele Sperindio in Singapore will be held at the District Grill Room & Bar. Combining modernist sensibilities with classical inspirations, the highlighted dish is Sardinian sea bass with Mozambique scampi, baby artichoke and beluga caviar. Prices start from 4,900 baht per person for food only. An additional package of premium beverages pairing costs 2,100 baht per person.

June: Dishes prepared with white asparagus are featured at Plate all-day-dining restaurant at 560 baht per dish. The menu includes white asparagus with chorizo, hazelnut and white asparagus sauce and white asparagus with prawns, red pomelo, salacca fruit and Hollandaise foam. The restaurant meanwhile highlights a new selection of four-course lunch sets at 590 baht per set. Options include signature chicken rice, Singapore laksa noodle soup and char kway teow fried noodles as well as fish and chips and Angus beef burger. Meanwhile, a new afternoon tea set dubbed “Jewels Of Carlton” is featured at Tuxedo Espresso Bar. Highlighted items include the bittersweet Sacher torte, an iconic combination of chocolate and apricot jam; Gianduja caramel cream tart; almond vanilla cake; avocado basil tart; mini bagel; and Scottish scones. Prices are 1,380 baht per set for two persons, including a pot of tea or coffee, and 1,680 baht per set, including two glasses of bubbles.

June: An international dinner buffet is featured at Atelier restaurant at 1,099 net per person. Highlights include fresh seafood and classic Thai dishes as well as Indian cuisine specialties such as curry, tandoori meat and vegetarian dishes.

SATHON — WITTHAYU — LANG SUAN Hotel Indigo

June: Char restaurant presents a new sharing menu showcasing various cuts of premium beef as well as top-grade seafood options. Highlights are a “Meat Deluxe” platter of wet-aged Australian Wagyu tenderloin, Wagyu flank steak and Angus grain-fed rib eye, all sous-vide cooked and finished on a wood-fired grill, and an “Under The Sea” platter comprising sea bass, salmon, Japanese scallops and tiger prawns.

June: The pet-friendly Craft casual restaurant presents a new selection of all-day breakfast dishes. Highlights are such as four-cheese egg-white omelette with halloumi, brie, Parmesan and feta; Indonesian burbur ayam rice porridge with poached egg; kaphrao wrap sandwich with cheddar and mozzarella; chicken wings with garlic Parmesan or habanero chilli sauce; Korean spicy stirfried ojingeo bokkeum squid with perilla leaf; and cold noodles with hijiki broth, cucumber and seaweed.

Sindhorn Kempinski

June: A new collection of the Verdant

Afternoon Tea was recently launched in the hotel’s lobby. The set includes items such as smoked salmon with horseradish and ikura on white bread; crabmeat and strawberries on crispy bread with balsamic; tuna tartlette with cucumber and smoked herring caviar; foie gras parfait on a cracker with cru de cacao and almond; Bacardi cream and minted cucumber; raspberry charlotte with joconde, bourbon and vanilla cream; and chocolate beignet with fried ganache and pear puree. The price is 2,300 baht for two people. 100 baht from every tea set sold on Wednesdays goes to the Autistic Thai Foundation and Foundation for the Blind charity programmes.

Standard Bangkok

June: A Tease x Eric Tobua afternoon tea, under the concept “Day Dream”, features a multicolour inspiration and positivity of LGBT Pride at 980 baht per person. The set includes sweet and savoury highlights such as tiger prawn slider and Iberico tartlet, foie gras torchon, red velvet scone and macarons.

RAMA IV — SURAWONG — CHAROEN KRUNG Le Méridien Bangkok

June: An Asian & Mediterranean Sunday brunch buffet is featured at the Latest Recipe restaurant. June 8: Siam Yacht Club features a special 5-course dinner, a collaboration by award-winning guest chef Julien Lebreton from Klongpai Farm and the restaurant’s head chef. Highlighted dishes include smoked trout beignets with lemon grass, caviar, and ginger and citrus gel; monk fish and foie gras torchon; chicken breast with tamarind glaze, butternut, lime berlingot, confit garlic cream and chicken jus; and tropical pavlova. May: Volti welcomes back diners with its new Tuscan grill cuisine concept by Italian executive chef Bruno Ferrari. The menu showcases the world’s finest meats including Japanese Wagyu A5, Australian champion-graded Angus from Queensland’s Darling Downs and F1 Wagyu, cooked in authentic Tuscan smoked and wood-fired style.

June 4: The monthly Sunday Champagne brunch buffet by chef de cuisine Roberto Gonzalez Alonso is featured at Uno Mas. June: Gaston Parisian Bistro introduces Le Comptoir du Chef, a new collection of light bites, with prices starting from 190 baht per item. Available dishes are such as duck rillette, foie gras mousse with fig chutney, hand-cut French fries served with homemade mayonnaise, croque monsieur sandwich, fried calamari with Espelette chilli, mini Wagyu beef burger on homemade brioche bun and a selection of oysters. June: Nan Bei Chinese restautant introduces all-you-can-eat weekday dim sum lunch with a choice of appetisers, soup and dessert at 1,250 baht net per person. Highlighted offering are such as double-boiled pork ribs soup, hot and sour bean curd soup with sea scallop and tiger prawn, lobster & shiitake mushroom dumplings, blue crab & black truffle xiao long bao, ha gao shrimp dumplings, abalone & glutinous rice siu mai, crispy rice noodle rolls with shrimp & caviar, turnip cake and chilled mango sago pomelo.

St. Regis

June: To commemorate Festa della Repubblica, an Epic Dinner buffet is featured every Friday and Saturday throughout the month at Viu restaurant. Highlights are freshly-baked truffle pizza, Australian beef stew risotto, eggplant Parmigiana, spinach ravioli with butter sauce, a whole Canadian lobster served thermidor style or with truffle mushroom risotto and Australian Wagyu beef and lamb rack with signature sauce. Featured items include an innovative rendition of tangmo pla hang (watermelon and sweet dried fish); ma hor, or caramelised minced chicken with pineapple and spices; and pulled pork satay with peanut sauce, cucumber and shallot; tub-tim grob water chestnut pearls with coconut mousse and jackfruit sable; and pandan lod chong noodle and coconut cream cake. RAMA I — PHAYA THAI Eastin Grand Phayathai

June: The newly-opened hotel features Trattoria@22, a Mediterranean poolside restaurant.
