Restored loot

Antiquities, donated or retrieved from the US after having been stolen from Thailand, are displayed at the National Museum in Bangkok. Among the exhibits is a gold crown that forms part of a 500-year-old Buddha statue from the Lanna era. The crown, made from 95% gold and weighing about 42 grammes, was returned with the help of the US Department of Homeland Security.
