The power of unity is reflected through a number of stunning craft works on showcase during “The Power Of One LAdV Masterpiece Collection x Damisa Vanaswas”, which kicks off today and runs daily from 11am to 7pm until Nov 26. The venue is Lotus Art De Vivre boutique at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel on Ratchadamri Road.

The unique collection is the result of the extensive journeys of artisans who dared to break free from tradition and procured exotic raw materials and exquisite objects, ranging from seashells to vibrant jewels and even eggs. They have treated the materials with tremendous workmanship, creativity, passion and innovation to produce precious items that embody breathtaking timeless artefacts.

Highlights include two pieces of ostrich egg art painted by Damisa Vanaswas, a young and exceptionally talented artist. Resting on a sterling silver stand, Ostrich Egg Silver portrays a condensed layer of clouds charged with vitality to represent the energy and fluidity of the dragon, the upcoming year’s zodiac sign.

Meanwhile, Elephant With Ostrich Egg features an abstract landscape characterised by multiple horizontal levels. Holding up this painted egg in all grandeur is an elephant sculpture made from sterling silver and stingray leather.

Set to impress collectors even more will be accessories and rare gems such as carved lavender jade from Myanmar; lacquer craftwork from China dating back three centuries; Japanese lacquer on bracelets, rings and pins; a bag with authentic vintage materials; and valuable home decor items.

Among the masterpieces are the Butterfly Brooch with Lavender Jade and Diamond, Red Lacquer Earrings, Batulaga Shell Ring, Petite Pink and Gold Silk bag, Blossoming Lotus Floral Lamp, and Urashima Taro and the Princess Turtle Cigar Humidor.

Also featured are 30 collectable paintings in oil and acrylic with unique patterns and styles by Damisa. She is a 21-year-old Thai student at the esteemed Rhode Island School of Design in the US, who masterfully crafts abstract figures, interiors and landscapes on canvas.
